To help facilitate agency consolidation efforts, staff members from both ODADAS and ODMH have been taking advantage of recent opportunities to get to know each other better and learn more about the functions and operations unique to each agency.

Last Wednesday, Dr. Tammy Collins, chief of the ODADAS Division of Prevention Services, kicked off the first of a series of brown bag lunch-and-learn discussions designed to familiarize ODMH employees with ODADAS divisions and initiatives and vice versa. Dr. Collins explained to the group of ODMH employees how everyone has a role to play in prevention, and described some of the many prevention-related undertakings at ODADAS such as the annual Ohio Prevention and Education Conference, the Ohio Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Initiative and the Ohio Youth-Led Prevention Network.
